Only When I cry
A salty tear runs down my face,
Once again, I'm down in this dark place.
The demons here all know me by name,
It's a dark, demented, twisted kind of fame.
The echoes surround me, they scream my worst fears,
I want to hide, want to cover my ears,
But my hands are tied, by the bonds of my past,
I'm living on quicksand, I'm going down fast,
Sinking lower and lower through the secrets of my soul,
I search for ways out but I've nowhere to go,
Curled up, crying, the walls, they cave in,
Now I must pay for my treacherous sin.
The scars on my body I can no longer hide,
Everyone knows now, my happiness I lied.
Sentenced to hell while living on Earth,
Cursed from beginning, doomed since my birth,
Inside my own mind, I whither, I die,
But nobody knows, they only see me cry.
